Dent Å is a modern dental clinic founded by dentists, located in the heart of Turku, Forum, across from Börs Pöheikkö. Our station is located on the 2nd floor and accessible by elevator next to the Forum entrance.

We offer a wide selection specialized dental and imaging services, which also support the needs of external dentists and their patients. In our premises also serves Auradent Oy, which offers comprehensive dental laboratory services (https://www.auradent.fi/).

Our dentist office is open every day of the year, without on-call supplement or visit fees.

We are open on all weekdays from 8 am to 8 pm, on Saturdays from 10 am to 4 pm, and on Sundays and public holidays from 10 am to 3 pm.

Imaging services

We use the Planmeca Viso G3 imaging device, which enables accurate 2D and 3D imaging.
All examinations include statement from radiology specialist Viljami Jokihaka.

* Getting Kela compensation requires a referral from a dentist, and for KKTT imaging, a referral from a specialist dentist.

Guidance

• The patient brings the X-ray referral with them, or you can also deliver it to Dentå in advance.
• The X-ray referral must contain sufficient clinical information, examination indication, questioning, examination to be ordered, and information of the referring dentist and unit.
• You can make an appointment for an X-ray by calling our appointment reservation 020 112 3000.
• We send the pictures with statements to the referring doctor. Delivery of the picture, if necessary, even on a fast schedule!

Specialist dentistry

Dentå offers all specialized dental services at a competitive price, also for external referral patients. Our patients only pay for the treatment given, without additional costs. Our facilities have a procedure room with a wake-up room and the latest equipment in the field, such as an operating microscope, piezo, endultrasound and warm gutta-percha.

For referring doctors

Below are ready-to-print or machine-filled referral forms by specialty.

Delivery of referral:

• By e-mail: The referral form is filled out electronically and sent as an encrypted email directly to the attending dentist:
  firstname.surname@denta.fi
• By mail: The shipment is filled out on paper and sent by post to the address below.
• X-rays: Can be attached electronically, on a CD, memory stick, or the patient can take the pictures with them.

Once the referral has been delivered to Dentå, we will contact the patient to book an appointment. Thank you for your cooperation!
